General discussion / User Profiles

Was just thinking that this site could be quite a good homepage for some dj's that havent got there own webpages, so it could be a good idea to give some space for personal information on each users page...

Different sections for Biography, Influences, Schedule, Previous gigs, Top10.... and so on.. could be quite a nice addition to the site.

What do we think?

do we have more then 10 DJ's who have gigs etc? and will there be any interest from others?

There are about 10 djs who i regularly download sets of, i'd love to know how they got started, what equipment they use, what they've achieved and so on.. We talk to the same people every day and dont know anything of each other.. Gives another dimension to the site that i dont think anyone would disagree with.. not suggesting we start adding photo albums and stuuf. just a few different things to give more of an idea of what everyone is about.

I despise Myspace.. too much to it.. i like just basic information on a basic web page.. theres too much going on on myspace.

Let lsdb.nl stay the same as it is right now. It's good enough and DJ's (big DJ's) ain't gonna join here because they want to advertise. Publicity comes from Youtube or other sites that are more known I guess .
And not every change is a good change. I think this won't be a good change.

What ever happened to this idea?

Well we have favourite sets, favourite genres.
Favourite artists would be nice could just type them in.
