Radio shows / Hardshockers.fm closed !

bad news for you..

maybe u heard that i, A-RoxX (ex-admin of hardshockers.fm), left hardshockers..

all the daily to do's on the station were my work.. (only help i got was in the new forum.. but thats all)
i also payed things like servers - gema & gvl (licence for broadcasting) from my own personal cash.. (~2000€ each year)

after i left... the team decided to close hardshockers for a while.. until they find a sponsor or whatever.. and theres also no one in the team now, who has the knowledge to lead the station.. too bad for hardshockers.. and i heard about the closing today.. the streams are already off.. next steps are still unknown to me..


and if u ask why i left: im not a private-supporter for newcomer djs.. which get renowned as great ones and than left the station for more listeners and/or bookings at clubs or whatever.. (happend very often)

the intern communication was really lame!! and i never heard a thank you for the money or work i invested into hardshockers.fm

but i heard things like: "why should i do something? i just need a radio to broadcast"

also a reason was our "hardshockers.fm meetz gigaparc" in june 2009.. our station got booked from that club, and an ex-member of our team wanted to organize it.

we should get a fixed night in 2 big clubs in germany. all 4 weeks including a big headliner and a hardstyle & hardcore floor... (example: june 2009 with danielle mondello & express viviana)

after that event, our ex-member told us, the club manager wasnt satisfied with the number of visitors. so they cancelled all other events.

but i was wondering because the club was very full! maybe over 1500 visitors..

some weeks later i found on the club-page a flyer with a new hardstyle series which is a complete success even today... organized & managed by the ex-member of hardshockers.. who said us that the manager wasnt satisfied!

i asked him why he snared our series.. his answer: "who wouldnt do that for a succesfull career? thats business!!"

i lost the trust in our team.. and also the fun with it.. so it was the best option for me - to leave hardshockers!!

thanks for running the station for so long A-Roxx and i wish you the best now you are not running Hardshockers.

I think its important that we keep hardshockers running though and i am looking to get a team together to run the station.

People who are willing to bring new ideas to the station to increase listeners and help the station grow. Let it be known that running a station is not an easy job for one person to handle so please if you are interested know that there is a lot of work involved, but the more people helping will make lighter work.

reall ashame!!!

it was a good station, and it had alot of great events too!!

it's onfortunate that you left right now while actually the last weeks there came some people that were willing to work for the station.

It's sad that hardshockers is going down.. Your point is perfectly understandable and even though I am a noob like vitaz, I still wanna thank you for all your hard work you did on the station. still hope to hear your mixes

Why you pay 2k eur in 1 year for the site ?:) Just only for the domen ? I have my project and it cost me ! 20 Eur in month , the design to other member of the site... i have radio+ 20 GB FTp (for ~ 5 eur) .. there is so many nuanses that i don't understand really...
