DJ-ing / Producing / Dj Competition

Me and Lawless were talking the other night about doign another DJ competition. Nothing as elaborate and as lengthy as the last one. Just a bunch of sets listened to by judges and they rate out of ten and the highest score wins!

Only stipulation for this competition is that the set has to be played under 136 bpm. So Techno, Electro, Dubstep, Tech Trance DJ's get a bit more recognition, see if we cant expand the users of the website.

We can do another competition for the harder styles after this one.

Anyone want to volunteer to be a judge?

Judges - BlackSun, Greg, Lawless, Nois3controll3r and bl4ckpr0j4ct, A-Bass, Nilles, Star ... we'll be able to get mroe as well no doubt.

I think at least 80% here prefer the harder styles.

True, but quite a lot of people use this website so hopefully we'll get enough people interested it to make it a decent competition.

Wont be able to broadcast it on Gearbox as that is now just hardstyle, however we can see about getting it broadcast somewhere. ill get in touch with a few stations when i think its gonna be worthwhile.

Odyssee, A-Bass and myself so far to make mixes. If you slow the hardstyle track down a lot, tweak with it abit so that it comes out sounding like techno, then by all means make a set, if you cant do that - burn in hell

awesome idea for a comp, needs to be more diversity of genres on here!
