Deepack, Josh & Wesz and Zatox started the hype.
Deepack because of the release "Rock This Joint / Freak On It", together with D-Block.
Josh & Wesz because of their releases "Rock It/Floorfiller" and "Chickz On Fire - Natte Asbak EP"
Zatox because of his excessive usage of hardcore kicks in almost every track he released back then.
I also think Frontliner is a bit responsable because of "Abject - Feel So Good"

Showtek did not make nu-style, they did their own thing, back then and still are.
Zany is the same, however, the difference between then and now is that his tracks are almost hardcore and back then it was pounding hardstyle (both in fusion-style)
indeed. around 2006/2007 nu-style came up, i think 1 minor sample also plays a big role in promoting that shit; Hardkick10.

I voted Prophet because in my history of listening to Hardstyle, Scantraxx and anyone who collaborated with Scantraxx artists (even before they were signed on, like DB&STF). In fact, I'd go as far as saying that Scantraxx is responsible for pushing and creating most of the nu-style, but theirs is pretty decent. Anything like Ran-D, current Alpha Twins, B-front, I seriously HATE that brand of nustyle, it's boring as shit... But, I think the specific people who started Nustyle were Deepack and Zatox as said earlier, and HHZ, and Showtek, Wildstylez, .... Who the fuck voted Pila?!
