There will be some new Rules for uploading sets

1. No information in your zippyshare link such as Artists names (this should be provided in your email/pm)
2. I want these criteria to be met went sent E-mails / PM's with links

2-b. Your name (which you entered the tournament with)
2-c. The Category you will be competing in.
2-d. A working download link

3. Things i do not want to read in a E-Mail/PM

3-b. Anything other than the the 3 above mentioned criteria.

4. Previous Round rules still apply, sets will be 40 - 50 Minutes for this round, No Rips etc etc etc

Been trying all morning to record my set but the cables I have are fucked and I can only record through one speaker which is no use. Extra time?

All DJs have been given an extra 14 days (and this time deadline = deadline)

Extension has been given due to some problems with equipment/lack of time among the contestants

Indeed, Deadline = Deadline. (no offense to other artists who didn't make the deadline)

It's a competition on LSDB where contestants win nothing but the inconvenience of having to make another mix if they progress, it's not X-Factor where one of us is gonna win a million pound record deal and it's not a competition to see who will be crowned LSDB Member Of The Year because I still currently hold that title... Past two years running.

Quite a strange view on this contest, If I may say so. Didn't you start mixing because you love it ? Isn't mixing a investment for you ? Every bit of appreciation, might it be online or be a jumping crowd, is appreciation that should be taken as a compliment to your skills. Because everything in life should be about a certain talent of doing something, and doing something you love should/could give you talent. But also takes effort, lots of effort (or you're just a prodigy ).

Anyway, I am currently in 2 categories, one of them goes flawless until now, doing a mix in one go, but the other is giving some trouble right now. I've sent in a mix, wasn't happy about it, did another one just in time, am happy about the tracklist, but not completely happy about the mixing. A lot of decent combinations of tracks, good tricks, but sometimes just not tight enough when mixed into eachother. So I will be doing another one, if accepted by smokey.

I see what you mean, but I tripped over the word 'inconvenience', like you think it's a big negative thing to have to make another mix again.... Or at least that's my interpretation of the sentence. Just saying...

Just copy/paste the working channel on to the other one

I'm really glad the deadline is moved. I was really unhappy about my mix and had no time to do a new one, but now i have a last chance
