Shoutbox: [26-03] Bedlam: Does anybody think it's worth making this a usable website again with the neverending time outs et.?

Altijd goed geleid en shit
As you can see I've been busy the last 3 months. I've rebuilt the complete site from scratch (front- and backend), because the previous code was almost 8 years old and impossible to maintain. Besides that it wasn't usable on mobile phones so it was time to switch to a responsive framework.

Most important changes:
- Built in a modern PHP framework so I can easily build new features.
- The front-end is now made in Foundation 5 (upgrade to 6 is on my to-do list), responsive so all features work on mobile phones.
- SSL is enabled by default so all connections are secure.
- Better search engine

Minor improvements:
- Add a comment when you report a broken link
- See all ratings/comments/etc of a user on his profile
- When submitting a set, fetch the set length from soundcloud/mixcloud URL so you don't have to enter it manually
- More Top 10 options

To-do list:
- Fix lololyrics stuff
- Filters on genre/artist/event pages
- - Button to show only sets where the selected genre is the primary genre
- Fix default sorting in liveset lists
- Liveset stats
- Jump to correct page when clicking on a notification
- Delete notification when related entity is deleted
- Option to show only favorite genres
- Optimize display of search results
- Autosuggest in search
- Ratings in newest comments list
- Search in tracklist
- Button to add livesets directly to event/artist
- Extra artist autosuggest
- List page sorting
- Next/prev buttons on homepage lists
- Top 10 per genre
- Search results sorting
- Remember filtering when using next/prev buttons on homepage
- Custom lists
- First page on set page doesn't work
- Ability to add sub-sets
- Send notification to the user who submitted the last active download link when all links are reported dead
- rss with only favorite genres and rating filter
- ...

Please let me know if you find any bugs or missing features. :)

I'm missing the button to specify the genre that used to be next to the search button. It was a very helpful way to find sets of one particular genre very quickly, since all the newest sets of that one genre were listed below. It sucks now that this feature is gone. Please bring this feature back

(n.a.v. reactie shoutbox);

should sort the sets by date automatically imo. Also the list still includes other genres, instead of just one.

Name a set in that list that doesn't have the hardcore tag. :)
xeLL -
With the old site the list included only the sets where the tag was set as primary genre. For example this set https://lsdb.nl/set/173975/thrasher-detest-mike-redman-pres-prspct-xtrm-unlocked-indoor-festival-2015-24-10-15 would only appear in the "crossbreed" list and not in the "industrial hardcore" one since the crossbreed tag is set as primary genre here . As you see the list now includes all sets that contain the hardcore tag even as third choice.

Android app would be brilliant and direct download would be a miracle, if you would have own server :))) anyway you doing great job, visiting your site everyday! :))

You're wrong. ;)

I'm 100% sure it did on the old page, I searched for sets like this for many years. Now it's a pain in the ass to find several sets in a particular genre just because some cunts tag the sets as hardstyle as second choice even though there's only one hardstyle track in a 2 hour hardcore set -.-

I'll put in on the to-do list, I can make a button for that :)

Fino alla Fine!
Really don't like the new layout, but that might be because of what I was used to.
One thing though, THIS ---> http://i.imgur.com/EzMcW63.jpg I don't understand. Might be ad space, but if it's not, it seem really weird to not have the set list pasted there, you know, like we used to. On that one thing alone the old layout was miles better.

I also feel like everything looks super clunky, but that may just be something you need to get used to.
Haven't tried the new search engine, but those are usually the thing that breaks first when databases get updated, so that should be expected.

Yeah I noticed that, should be fixed now.

When adding a liveset, the field more info doesnt automatically make a hyperlink of text starting with http://
