hey people as you can see there's a new genre on the site

its called Hands-up

what is hands-up?
it's a kind of dance music, variated from jumpish to hardstylish and hardtrance.
very commercial and cheesy, with loads of energy.
mostly produced and played in Germany

is this not jump?
yes and no. jump is more on the techno and hardstyle side, and these days on the tek side.
some jump are melodic, but can be considerd a bit to hands-up.

However,. is handsup also famous @ Sweden, Estonia, Denmark and some other country's around it

In holland we had also handsup tracks that was kinda famous , think about Cascada,Lizkay , Special D.

I am happy that handsup didnt was really a hype,. when jumpstyle was overhyped i was done with it, but the comical jumpstyle of germany , never falled away for me

Handsup is great gerne, and mix it already since 2005 also listen to radio (like t4e.dj great radio handsup radio!)

The only thing thats bad about this is you will surely get idiots putting hardstyle sets that they think is hands up hardstyle in the this category.

reading that, i agree... i have listen to Offical Jumpgeil.de Show @ HarderRadio.FM and that wasn't Jump/Tek
