"In his debut outing for Pitchless Radio on ILLFM, Sheffield's Distorted Panda presents a painstakingly selected and blended DJ mix of balls-out heads-down tunes, inspired by his 4 year stint as co-promoter and resident of Tinnitus, Sheffield's only and longest running night of properly hard shit. Having put on producers and DJs such as Hidden, Dolphin, The DJ Producer, Jeff Amadeus and SPL, and having been involved in the scene for a total of 12 odd years, he's got a lot to draw upon. With a definite avoidance of hardcore that sounds like a post-apocalyptic washing machine gone wrong and DnB covers of tunes made by the Rotherham Steelworker's Experminental Percussion Group (circa 1977), just listen and enjoy. You'll barely notice the 70bpm increase in tempo over the course of the set, we promise."
