one of the last tracks is "Coming Home" and in the end "Alles Kapot"? what's the point?

with so many many good tracks this days... why playing the same? seems to be a big lack of creativity of this days DJ's

if you think so,you may try to get ur attention to less known or pretty much unknown dj's,sometimes they come up with impressively good things to hear, also could be a good change if you're tired of repetive acts of "big" names wich may turned too commecre,or simply out of new ideas ;)

i know that's the sad truth. but it doesn't need to be like that. for example Partyraiser..is a big star and he doesn't have problem to play an unknown track from a small artist/label.

yep same with some others like DJ Smurf for example also, but the reason some of these repetive sets by same dj's might be because of sticking to already known,or "well working" tracks selections or simply playing only friendly tracks like by few labels with wich they do work or smth like that

building up a set...going form hard to harder... and almost in the end killing it with a chill break??
i say the same for "Nobody said it was easy", or like in Hardstyle sets Zany's "Lighters" ...

For a lot of these guys, they don't have normal jobs like you and me, they put food on the table from the money they make from the music and gigs. With the elimination of vinyl releases and illegal downloading, artists aren't getting much money (if any) from music sales. So more now then ever before, artists will promote mostly their music and the label they work for, hence these boring sets. In their eyes, there is no financial gain in playing other people's music. A lot of the big DJ's work with each other, to keep themselves on top of the scene. Some people would call it a massive circle jerk! There's no money in the Hardcore scene for creativity.

Another thing is we now get music almost as soon as its released. A long time ago (in a galaxy far away), you had to wait for the new Thunderdome CD to be released or goto the record store and buy the new records, by then, the DJs had been hammering new tunes on white label for a couple of months before hand. It seems punters have tunes on their IWhatever before the DJs get to play them on the weekend!

If you think there are some weird track selections in this set, listen to some Bass D sets, somehow he plays Poltergeist (a scary darkcore track) and then plays Hold Me Now! That's fucked up!

Besides Raw To The Floor and System Crash, this set looks pretty boring. Ironically Kelly is still calling himself Evil Acitivities, yet there's nothing evil about his music.

Ha. Haha! HAHAHAHAHA!

I agree with the rest of your post though, there's nothing evil about Evil Ectivities anymore. I consider their [Sensation] BLACK 2008 set to be the last good commercial set that was done, because it had a great tracklist that features good songs from a good album. This on the other hand is the same strategic bullshit they keep spewing out. I wonder what the organizers were thinking by putting EA in the same room as DJs like Delta-9 and Tieum.

Bullshit. Digital sale make up for the decline in physical record sales (also these sales can be infinite cause there is no stock to worry about, no break even to worry about). There is still no proof that pirating music has done any actual damage.
