First of all, this is probably my worst mix ever, but I have uploaded this for a reason. This mix is also a dedication from a proud Laptop user to those that hate laptop users because we suck.
Here is the reason why.

Pretty much all the time, I hear from vinyl DJ's and CDJ's that so called laptop DJ's suck because we supposedly be using the sync button all the time. For most of the laptop users, I will have to agree with them.. I do confess that I also use sync, but to match the bpm level. I still use the jog wheel to correct it Also I don’t call myself a DJ, but a Laptop artist. But a lot of laptop users only use sync because it is easy and just play and walk away doing nothing, giving artists like me a bad name and calling themselves a DJ.
Yes, this sync button has made my life easier, but also for other laptop users and I like it just only for the reason I stated before.

We laptop artist must learn to use the basics, and I do agree on that. We should learn to play on CDJ’s or on vinyl, just in case the laptop dies. But there is also a reason why a laptop artist such as myself prefer and can do more with a laptop than a average vinyl or a CDJ player. As you guys take time to sync the music, I’m already done. And because of the time span, I’m not doing anything else, true.

I just said that I like the sync button to bpm match, but I hate using it to beat match because it’s unreliable and it feels like cheating (and it is). But with this mix what I have uploaded, serves its purpose just right. For this mix I sometimes use the sync button, but not all the time.
What you are about to hear is what a Laptop artist such as myself and many other laptop artists in the world can do what most of you vinyl and CDJ’s cannot, unless you’re a major pro.

This uploaded freestyle J-Core mix ranges from UK Hardcore to speedcore, it ranges from 170bpm to 600+bpm within one hour... And it has 74 track in it. I did say at the beginning that this is my worst mix ever, but it was totally unplanned and it was a 100% random drag and drop mix. With a little planning and effort I could do much better than this, but this is not the point.

If you vinyl DJ’s and CDJ users can do better than this with just randomly selected tracks, various music styles and massive BPM ranging and also pretty much on the beat from your bag/cd wallet, then I do and will respect you laptop haters. If you can’t do what I did, then just shut the hell up about laptop users like me and fuck you very much until you can.

Eventually it’s not about what we all can do, it’s about what we can do for your audience. We are all in the DJing business because we love the music and love performing. Who cares if one is a vinyl user, a CDJ user or a laptop user. Can’t we just get along and just respect eachother ?

Greetings from a proud Laptop Artist.
