Once again there’s a fresh filth forming in the air above Argy HQ! This time, though only in a half hour package, it’s bigger, meatier and with an atmosphere so thick you can pretty much taste it. Audiological warfare is upon us!
With his usual otherworldly flair and technical ability, the Techno Tyrant’s BBC Radio One guest mix for Kuski’s show is full of yet more twists and trickery, making full use of his beloved Pioneer DJM900 Nexus (yes, they gave him more buttons to play with!).
Delving deeper into the detail, you’ll find an underlying big arena sound which progresses to an electric, euphoric yet tastefully ‘glitchy’ and ‘grindy’ second half.
Not surprising that you won’t happen across a similar sound in the air waves either, due to the sheer amount of Argy live edits, Argy Mash Ups and inimitable Argy alchemy – which has come to be a term we use for that which we still cannot explain.
