t is no secret we have been infatuated with Marquis Hawkes debut record here at the Creme compound. This elusive former resident of the infamous Cabrini Green housing projects in Chicago has been popping up in unexpected places doing some serious dancefloor damage, only to disappear through the walls like some specter, shrouding himself in mystery even for us.. All the more frustrating since we considered ourselves kings of confusion. But lo, when we said his name in the mirror three times some worker bees from Glasgow's excellent new label Dixon Avenue Basement Jams dropped this honey-sweet podcast in our mail hive. So even though we still don't know much at least some of our thirst for more music has been quenched.
