if they want to go in house/techhouse direction is OK, but they should have changed the name. new music, new name simple. no confusion with the hardstyle Showtek, the real Showtek.
for example, Headhunterz created "Shillo" alias to produce & play house/techhouse music
no need to destroy the hardstyle concept of "Headhunterz project.

Indeed they should've picked another artist name. now it looks like they kept it to use the fame of the name to build another career while 'betraying' their roots.

Eindeloze gedoe over Showtek altijd. Ze doen het in ieder geval slim, there's no such thing as bad publicity..

its actually kinda sad that showtek will never escape heavy criticism solely because they changed the direction of there music, they are great producers and DJ's same thing happened to Tiesto, he made some of the most memorable tracks in trance yet if you say his name he will only be remembered as a sell out

I love his new style, no more fucking cheese music. I'm so glad he left the childish hardstyle scene, I mean if he was early influenced still and made solid tracks it would be sad... But with the scene as it looks now;
I totally give him support for leaving, and I hope he continues to make and mix good music.
The house scene could have good use of his bass in tracks...
I do admit this mix is nothing special IMO..
