Cheers guys. @Patrick, I must say headphone commute's Intelligent Breakcore set was definitely an inspiration, although I chose a different direction. This set has been in the making for quite some time and I'm happy I finally got a chance to play it out live.
Knomo -
Why? Because fuck you, thats why
Niets van gezien, Ruffneck & Thrasher waren veel beter. :p

Damn nice :L

I find it fascinating how diverse breakcore can be. One time emotional and deep like here and then brutal, aggressive and damn loud like in you defqon set :D

Thanks mate :)

That's what I love about the genre, its variety and the sheer endless possibilities. I think that's mostly down to the DIY vibe the genre has, rather than a series of set 'boundaries and rules' like a lot of other genres.

I must say this type of breakcore has proven to be rather hard to find, the followup to this set has been in preperation for quite some time but is nowhere near finished.

I really hope you're doing a third set like this aswell ;) a few days ago I found "Detrimental" by Detritus to fit in such a set probably, dont know if you know it. And probably sth from flashbulb? Atleast discogs rates it as both modern classical and breakcore on some albums, but I must admit I just got me a few albums and I still need to listen to them.

I'm a big fan of Detritus. Personal favourite is his album Things Gone Wrong, I listen to that on a regular basis. It's not entirely the vibe I was going for with the first two sets but who knows what the future holds :)
Considering the amount of time the first two took, I think a third set may take aproximately an eternity. I really enjoyed making them though, but the feedback from the general public has been mediocre at best. Not sure there's much of an audience for this kind of thing.

Yeah, I guess its hard to find an audience for that, thats kinda sad. But if you and a few people here enjoy it its enough maybe ;)
