Sure we shouldnt class this as early hardstyle as well ? :W

The thing that makes me laugh about that is that if you asked the DJ's/Producers that created the tracks that are apparently EHS (to some people in this website) they would say they are Hard house or Hard Trance or Hard Bass Techno.

It wasn't till Technoboy created pretty much the first Hardstyle track under the name K-Traxx - Ravers Rules, this track contained a fusion of Hard House & Hard Bass Techno. & with that track actual hardstyle was born.

I've been looking about and nothing says the first Qlimax was even advertised as a Hardstyle event in 2000 (I could be wrong though although to convince me otherwise you will need proof) & people keep bringing up the first Qlimax CD from 2001 even though its only got 2 hardstyle tracks on it.
10. Zenith vs. Avex - I'm Your Deejay (Progressive Mix)
14. Technoboy - Ravers' Rules (K-Traxx Remix)

The first Qlimax sets that had only hardstyle in them were at Qlimax 5 back in April 2003(From the 2nd set done by Zenith to the 9th by Supermarco May). There wasn't enough hardstyle tracks created before Qlimax 5 so they had to use others tracks.
It was advertised from 2001 as a Hardstyle event. this is where it creates confusion with people.

And there is a conclusion: at Qlimax 2001 DJ's played lots of Acid Trance/303 tracks, and look at those sets on lsdb - they are all tagged as EHS. So, like I said it is actually our manner here to call sets with Acid/HT oldies as EHS sets.

Ask mods if they can create new genres then. But then again, if they create them I think those tags:

EH Early Hardcore
ET Early Trance
EE Early Electro
ET Early Techno

won't be used so much, because people like to generalize. It's OK to have UK-styles, because yes, UK-style is different. And we already have Early Hardcore (under EHC).
Yes, calling HT EHS might be a bad habit, but tell it to the people who post those sets like that - guess it will take some time to get rid of that manner.

Tech Trance... is that similar to what, let's say, Vandall plays? I like some of his tracks. I suppose Yoji Biomehanika turned into Tech-style, right? Well, his older productions were strictly awesome (Theme From Banginglobe, yeah!), now he's not on my top. Well, in my opinion golden era of all Hard Electronic music scene is gone...

Early Hardstyle I got did you mean Early Hairstyles hahaha

Hahaha Quality

Early Hardstyle first came on the scene at Q-Base 2006.
Technoboy played Early Hardstyle in 1 of the arenas. This was actual Early Hardstyle, the early productions Technoboy & the rest of the hardstyle producers made. If you check the tracklists from the Q-Base event you can see these are about the earliest hardstyle on the scene.

Although Melanie Di Tria played some Hard Trance in her set, which creates confusion for some that can't tell the difference.

But for the people that can't tell the difference between Hardstyle & Early Hardstyle.
The chorus of Early Hardstyle tracks usually had the reverse bass in them. Not the only thing that separates them but a good start point if you don't know.

Theres one genre I hate and to me it helped ruin the classic Hard Trance sound and thats Tech Trance, maybe the mods should add that genre.

Definitely, Tech Trance has just about destroyed my interest in Hard Trance.
It's the reason I don't really download Hard Trance that much anymore.
The old Scot Project, Hennes & Kold productions were awesome, Uplifting & Banging.
Bring back the old Hard Trance scene.
