Violet Poison is the enigmatic and secret identity of an Italian techno producer. This identity is focused on a sort of analogue proto-techno with influences from 70’s Italian progressive bands like Goblin or OST composers like Fabio Frizzi and earlier Downwards records from 1994-1995. A kind of esoteric techno with elements from 90’s warehouse material mixed with VHS horror movies aesthetics. He wears a nylon mask during his performance, something that reminds to the “Phantom of the Opera” character. Musically, he takes inspiration from the esoteric and gothic field: conspiracy theories, egyptology, ancient alien civilizations and freemasonry.
The result of a powerful potion of neo-industrial techno and electronic rawness.
