It's been a while since I made a mix for you, guys… so you can say that this has been a long time in the making.
In fact, I finished the mix back in February but held on to it for just a bit, to make sure it was absolutely perfect.
I've put on a lot of thought into the intricate weave of sound that makes up this eerie journey across my favorite dark ambient, noir-fi, minimal and experimental music, all wrapped around a haunting story which I sampled from a 1958 horror b-movie by the same name.
Add to that a few obscure vinyl records (including a monaural insert from an issue of 1965 National Geographic on the funeral of Sir Winston Churchill) and you get a crackling, dusty, lo-fi trip.
Then, take a look at the artists in the tracklisting, and it should be obvious why I am so proud of this mix.
