At some points I have been in an inner conflict with me & Hardstyle this year.
I was really saturated with the releases in January - April/May, so I've taken a bit of distance from the genre in general.
One of THE tracks that got me back to the scene with more enthusiasm was 'Trapped' from Neilio Ft. Miss Judged!
It reminds me of a girl I was in a friendship with for a long time. Those feelings is what this music means to me, happiness, sadness, anger, hope & even love!
I had a really hard time creating this top 40, I deleted and added a lot of tracks again and again to find the right collection to make this mix worth a yearmix.
To my surprise this mix has a good balance with the harder & euphoric sound. I wasn't so amazed by the raw sound at first but especially Roughstate had some excellent tunes this year (while Fusion was a big let down this year)!
I am really looking forward to all the Hardstyle music coming out in 2016.
