Why not Uptempo tag? Hardcore tag generally means mainstream, very melodic and commercial.

There’s not an uptempo tag. Uptempo and Hardcore are the same genre, with slight differences.

I think the difference is big between Dyprax and Re-Style in comparison to Partyraiser or Cryogenic, for example. NSD Terror + Uptempo, Re-style Hardcore + Hardstyle, Dyprax Hardcore, Angerfist Hardcore + Uptempo, Cryogenic Uptempo, Partyraiser Uptempo, Tripped Industrial + Terror, Sjammienators Uptempo, [KRTM] Techno + Industrial, Manu Le Malin Darkcore + Industrial DownTempo, The Outside Agency Industrial + Crossbreed, Akira Crossbreed + UK Hardcore, etc...

In theory everything is straight

Because 'uptempo' isn't a style, it's a variation of Hardcore

Maybe we could do a tag like the raw style /euphoric tags for hardstyle. Its also both hardstyle but theres a big difference between Da Tweekaz and Warface/Malice/radical kinda stuff.

hardcore as genre and uptempo as a tag would be an option

Also for example Sefa Europhoric Frenchcore.

There’s not a massive difference between general hardcore and uptempo. I suppose it’s pretty similar to euphoric and raw hardstyle. I’m not against an uptempo tag , don’t know what everyone else’s opinion on it is though.

There are clear differences in the sound design but you can still tell it’s the same genre. Listen, I’m all for an uptempo tag but I don’t think we should keep making sub genres for the sake of it, imo.

A tag for a single artist (and some guys imitating, doing the same) is a bit too much. What i heard from sefa sounds more like happy hardcore with a radium kickdrum but thats really not my strong genre and I also don't really care (same for uptempo). Plus would be I could filter all uptempo sets out =D
