Is this really mixed live? I have no DJ experience at all but 107 tracks in one hour seems pretty impossible to me without preparation in some form

He does this in ableton. I was playing the slot before him so I got a good look at his setup, his ableton screen is an absolute clusterfuck of tracks.
Been a long time fan of his work, I think he's massively underrated. Just a different way of DJing, if you ask me this is the way to ableton. All those producers that use ableton because they're lazy and end up chucking down a 20 tracks/hr mix is kind of a waste of potential. This is fully using the possibilities that software gives you.

He's done worse than 107 tracks in an hour by the way: http://l5d.nl/sn25c96

Interesting. I played around with ableton for like an hour and failed (maybe I'll try again sometimes) so I can only imagine how his screen looks like.

But is it prepared then? Or does he put all those tracks together during the set?

The track selection is prepared but it's not a prerecorded set, he has a controller to perform with: (link to photo from event)
Not sure about the functionality entirely but I would imagine he uses it to trigger his tracks and layer fx on top etc.

It looks interesting for sure.
I must say it was also a fun listen, though I must admit I barely recognized half of the songs which should be in here. I tried to keep up with the TL while listening but I gave up pretty soon
