Bio:
With his great passion for bass music, Niels de Jong, a.k.a. Nelens has made quite a name for himself in the local scene. After starting his career, he has proven himself to be a welcomed member over the years and he has played in the biggest venues in the region at events like Bassball, Neruofu*k, Wildstyle and Innervision. Together with his rich background of music and his performers skill, he really knows how to please the crowd.
He first started his alias around 6 years ago as a Dubstep DJ. But soon enough he got addicted to the fast-pacing, dark and heavy sound of Drum & Bass. With the musical experience he got as a guitar player in a Hard Rock/Metal band, Nelens started to develop a sound which is pretty distinguishable. Blending deep, dark and heavy vibes inspired by his past, Nelens knows how to surprise his crowd with his sets. Artists like Break, DLR, Cause 4 Concern, Bad Company and Aphrodite have given him the inspiration and motivation to be what he is now. Throughout the years he has collected a huge collection of Drum & Bass vinyl’s. He has earned a lot of respect by playing live vinyl sets and with his collection still growing, every set is different than others.
The love he’s got for the scene will never die and he will always give every bit of energy to blow his crowd away. You may hear a lot more of him in the future.
