Techno Tribe was a sublabel of the legendary PCP label. And there is something extra special about it: Marc Acardipane produced the tracks for all 12(!) vinyl releases of the label in one(!) night session!
As the name implies, this is a label for Techno output, and I can hear influences of early Acid (not necessariy bleep filtering, but the mood of these tracks), 90s German Rave sound, and, of course, Hardcore, Gabber and Doomcore here - and even a bit of Mover electronics!
The track New Balance - Up & Down became a big hit on Youtube a while ago due to being featured in a vintage Gabber party video, and even had its own Remix contest in the year 2020 - so it has definitely become a classic, along with other tracks of this label, such as Highrollers - Bust A Beat.
This is a very exciting label with great and clever productions, and tunes that make you want to move your feet while also feeding your mind.
Definitely worth a tribute mix!
