Difference is in sound ,there u can see some tech effect ,tech trance tends to utilize a more driving sound while commonly using distortion as an effect on the melodies, While breakdowns and builds within a song are important elements in tech trance & other genres... There are some dj's u can check : Simmon Patterson , W&W ,Mark Sherry
