Poor mixing. Beautiful tracks. Can someone tell Angerfist that THIS is what good Hardcore sounds like.

full TL good job! :thumbsup2:

about Angerfist, i dont agree with that. you can't compare him to Leviathan, their simply different styles and different times (90s EHC vs this days Mainstream HC) ;)
Psychologic -
Oh, i should point out, Angerfist is shit. How his music is popular is a sad indication of Dutch Hardcore. When I see braindead 15 year olds raising their fist to shithouse music, I want to stab them, after which I'll shove the entire Cenobite back catalogue down their throats. No different times my friend, just hockey masks and little imagination on Abelton and predictable Virus melodies. It's highly ironic that as the years have gone by, software has increased and good Hardcore has decreased.

Damn dit is wel heel erg slecht gemixt.... het is dat het zulke geweldige tracks zijn anders had ik Leviathan moeten minnen :(

don't be so hard on Angerfist, as i said different time different hardcore.

I still love the Early 92-93-94 Hardcore still the best period for me.. the Thunderdome 1-5 series :worship: As i nottest you're an addict of +-95 style (Mokum style) ehehe

Evolution is a natural process of things, but the classics stay timeless

If you like Old School Hardcore, how do you feel about the evolution of Hardcore, not actually progressing? Loud kickdrums and poor Virus melodies, it makes Early Hardcore quite easy to be timeless. As a DJ of both styles, I'm in a position to analyse "different times and different hardcore", whilst its a harsh critique of Angerfist, its a fair assessment. Have you ever watched a Sci-Fi movie in the not too distant future and everything seems soooo much better. Yet, The Wish by Beyonder was made in 1996 and destroys every track from 2010. Once again, is this not a sad indication of our beloved music?

Angerfist is not the only culprit in this mess, there are many other big names involved.

It it :(

But it could also be that the track is just so freaking uber :w00t:
Psychologic -
You're right, its pretty freaking awesome!

If I was Angerfist, I'd kill myself as a noble sacrifice for Hardcore. I've followed the music for 15 years, and I've become increasingly disappointed with the progression of the music. Much respect to Industrial Hardcore, Darkcore and Breakcore, even though I may not like everything in these genres, at least they are doing something different. Do this test:

Compare a Hardcore track from 1990 to a Hardcore track from 1995: big difference.
Compare a Hardcore track from 1995 to a Hardcore track from 2000: big difference.
Compare a Hardcore track from 2000 to a Hardcore track from 2005: some difference.
Compare a Hardcore track from 2005 to a Hardcore track from 2010: no difference.

In five years, Hardcore has gone nowhere, with the exception of even louder drums, not a good thing. Maybe I'm a jaded old man, but Hardcore is boring these days, and it pains me to say that. Name one awesome track off Ruffneck's new record on Enzyme? That double is horrible and Patrick is a legend and Enzyme is the best Hardcore label right now. It's not the worst stuff out there but it becomes disheartening. Obviously everybody else has their own opinion, but listening to this Leviathan set show me Hardcore is more then loud drums, drown out Virus melodies and predictable track structure. /Rant.
