I decided to download one of your mixes, you seem to upload a lot of mixes on this site. I'm not having a go at you when I say this, this is more constructive critique, I've been dj-ing Hardcore for 16 years, maybe I can help.

1. Are you using vinyl or CDs? If you're using vinyl it MIGHT explain some of these mixes. If you are using CDJs, you really have no excuses.

2. The start of the mix is good, mixing is fine and tracks are good, number two is Marshall Masters - Return To Zero.

3. It all goes downhill after the odd mix of Happy Together and Pessa Pessa (Buzz Fuzz Mix), those tracks just don't work. In this mix you have some weird cue points, so some of the mixes sound completely out of sync, its very noticeable.

4. Why would mix a Happy track (Used And Abused) with a dark and doomy track (Chaos Effect)? Is this common in Holland to mix tunes that have nothing in common, even the bpm and drums sound bad mixed together. This is just very poor track selection.

5. Ok so you've got Chaos Effect (a darker track), then you mix one of the happiest tunes ever! Wouldn't the smart thing to do is mix Used and Abused with Hardcore Vibes? This is horrible track selection, it means you aren't putting much thought into your tracks. There's no flow in this mix, its very ear jarring.

6. You know when you're in the middle of a mix and you start cutting the tracks, actually get your mixing right first, its very noticeable.

7. Something kinda embrassing happens, Hardcore Vibes is playing, in your mind you decide to play Shining. Shining is a very slow track, so you slow down Hardcore Vibes by 10-20 bpms, its very noticeable! Actually I laughed a bit. I don't know any dj that slows down a track in the middle of playing it. Here's a tip: Don't slow the track down, pick a track with a similar bpm! Hardcore Vibes and Shining don't even work, it sounds really bad.

8. By this time, I'd kinda given up on this mix. You clearly speed up the Leviathan track, your track selections ruin the flow of the set, it goes up/down/slow/fast/happy/dark, its very annoying. I'd say 66% of the mixing is poor, but there are some good ones in there too.

9. Mixing will eventually get better, especially with CDJs (I'm still using vinyl), but really think about the tracks you want to play and structure the set according to bpm, style of hardcore so everything flows well. If you continue to put out these mixes with weird tracklistings, I don't think I'll be downloading your mixes anytime soon.

Download another random addict set and you'll see it is the exact same story.

But some like it i assume.
