Ian Thorn aka Blackmass Plastics has been a name synonymous with tough, uncompromising dance music for over a decade. A producer who refuses to pigeonhole himself, his releases on labels such as SMB, Rag & Bone and most recently Mutant Bass, demonstrate far-reaching influences, from 90's hardcore through to industrial electro, breakstep and bassline.

His mix for us reflects this breadth of influence well, kicking off on some early rave from The Hypnotist, then launching into a hectic electro bass journey with tracks from the likes of Duran Duran Duran, DJ Stingray and Blackmass himself, before finishing the assault with the brutal drums of Reso and Evol Intent.
