Yeah they're mostly happy hardcore, but the track featured on this mix was freeform. Anyways, I suppose in the absence of a specific freeform hardcore tag it's tricky to pick a category for the mix; never really thought of Hellfish and other hardcore techno types as UK Hardcore to be honest, but it's not my site!

I think you can say this website is designed from a Dutch perspective.. we don't really use the term 'hardcore techno' ...there is also a difference between uk happy hardcore and happy hardcore (http://lsdb.nl/list/genre/37.html) but unfortunately the 3 genres are not really moderated that well

Well, I guess you learn something new every day! In Britain UK Hardcore would denote the typical British hardcore music like you get on the HTID, Hardcore Heaven or Bonkers compilations, whereas the hard fast stuff you're calling UK Hardcore would generally be called Hardcore Techno.
